Am I Unamerican?

Death and Taxes

A clip from the TV show: Boston Legal

The first Amendment allows the people to Petition the Government for a Redress of Grievances, and what recourse for redress does that mean, withholding taxes is the only logical one when other avenues have failed. We The People, an upstanding organization, has a lawsuit pending on appeal against the federal government because despite numerous requests for answers to simple questions, many in the administration and the heads of agencies REFUSE to answer their questions, including the IRS. That is what this show clip addresses, and I find it to be perfectly Constitutionally valid. Now whether or not I will begin withholding my taxes, I will wait for the outcome of the Appeal. Just because something is Constitutional, no longer means it will be upheld in this country, take a look at the Federal Reserve system, take a look at Bush's wiretapping system, the list endlessly goes on into infinity practically.

Now with regard to the actual legalness of taxes....

I have heard the arguments regarding whether or not the 16th Amendment was ever ratified, and from the research I have done I have come to the conclusion that this argument is invalid, as it is simply based upon small grammatical errors and inconsistencies of the ratifications of the states, so for the purpose of argument, I will stay away from that aspect of this debate unless someone can prove it otherwise. Bill Benson is the only case I have found utilizing this argument that has won, but all other cases since have been shot down by the lower courts, and none have been allowed to reach the Supreme Court level. I have read the full details of these cases, and frankly have to say that the actions of the Judges in the lower courts baselessly not allowing the arguments made and evidence to be presented, when his case won, are illegal.

The Sixteenth Amendment reads:

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

Now lets break down what this means:

Income: a gain usually measured in money that derives from capital or labor.

Apportionment: (in context according to ) to distribute equally

Census: complete count of a population

Enumeration: to count or list.

A little history on why the 16th Amendment was needed:

The Wilson-Gorman Tariff Act of 1894 attempted to impose a federal tax of 2n incomes over $3, 000. Derided by its opponents as "communistic, " it was challenged in federal court. FYI, the idea of income taxes comes directly from The Communist Manifesto.

In the case of Pollock v. Farmers' Loan & Trust Co. 157 U.S. 429 (1895), aff'd on reh'g, 158 U.S. 601 (1895), the Supreme Court declared the 1894 Act to be an unconstitutional unapportioned "direct tax" (because it taxed the rents from land and the dividends from stocks, and the Court said that such taxes "burden" the property). The Pollock case has never been overturned, yet Congress wrote the 16th Amendment to essentially overturn it.

However, in the case of Brushaber v. Union Pacific Railroad, 240 U.S. 1 (1916), the Supreme Court indicated that the Sixteenth Amendment did not give the Congress a new power to tax incomes, as Congress already had that power. Although an income tax on income from property had been deemed (under Pollock, above) to be a direct tax, and an income tax on wages, etc., had been deemed to be an indirect tax (an excise), the Court in Brushaber decided that, after the Sixteenth Amendment, the Constitution allows Congress to tax any incomes without apportionment (and without regard to any census or enumeration) regardless of "source" -- that is, regardless of whether the particular income tax is deemed direct (such as a tax on income from property) or indirect (i.e., an excise, such as a tax on income from labor). The Sixteenth Amendment made the distinction between a direct tax and an indirect tax constitutionally irrelevant with respect to income taxes. In Brushaber, the Court upheld the validity of the Federal income tax.

In the Supreme Court case of Bowers, Collector v. Kerbaugh-Empire Co., 271 U.S. 170 (1926), Mr. Justice Butler stated:

It was not the purpose or the effect of that amendment to bring any new subject within the taxing power. Congress already had the power to tax all incomes. But taxes on incomes from some sources had been held to be "direct taxes" within the meaning of the constitutional requirement as to apportionment. [cites omitted] The Amendment relieved from that requirement and obliterated the distinction in that respect between taxes on income that are direct taxes and those that are not, and so put on the same basis all incomes "from whatever source derived". [cites omitted] "Income" has been taken to mean the same thing as used in the Corporation Excise Tax of 1909 (36 Stat. 112), in the Sixteenth Amendment, and in the various revenue acts subsequently passed. [cites omitted] After full consideration, this court declared that income may be defined as gain derived from capital, from labor, or from both combined, including profit gained through sale or conversion of capital.

------>side note: Notice how the Justice indicates that income may be defined as "gain, " I will come back to this.

In Commissioner v. Glenshaw Glass Co., 348 U.S. 426 (1955), the Supreme Court laid out what has become the modern understanding of what constitutes 'income' to which the Sixteenth Amendment applies, declaring that income taxes could be levied on "accessions to wealth, clearly realized, and over which the taxpayers have complete dominion." Under this definition, any increase in wealthwhether through wages, benefits, bonuses, sale of stock or other property at a profit, bets won, lucky finds, awards of punitive damages in a lawsuit, qui tam actionsare all within the definition of income, unless Congress makes a specific exemption (as it has for things like gifts, bequests, and certain scholarships).

Now you will note that in the Bowers Case and the Glenshaw case, both indicate that taxes may be levied against ALL increases or gains in wealth. One might argue, and a case has never reached the Supreme Court, that the base of a person's labor is their own property, and not a gain or increase. Now should someone receive a pay increase on that property, then yes, the INCREASE only should be taxed. I have not found any cases which document this argument, but it seems perfectly plausible to me, and is upheld by all of the existing case law that I have found thus far.

So, the 16th Amendment gives CONGRESS (NOT the IRS) the power to collect taxes on any GAINS in income, equally among all peoples, without regard to a state's population, etc. Therefore, the current income tax system is technically illegal, as it is not a "flat tax" on everyone and it calculates your taxes not on the basis of increases in your wealth or property, but the amount of your wealth/property of your income, derived from your labor. This is like taxing you annually on the value of your car, your home, your furniture, your pedigree pooch. You get the idea. Your labor is your property, and the Supreme Court has upheld that. The direct language of this Amendment only provides for taxation against each increase.

Further, for years, people have been writing to the administration and the IRS to tell them where in the Internal Revenue Code does it specifically indicate that an American citizen-worker must pay taxes on wages directly derived from his/her labor or that companies must withhold. All have failed to answer this question, though the Internal Revenue Code specifically requires them to address this question when asked. That is where the now becoming popular phrase comes from "Show you the Money~ Show ME The Law!"

And to go even further, have you ever seen a copy of the Internal Revenue Code? It is roughly the size of a phone book, in fine print, completely filled with legal jargon that the average citizen cannot understand. This is why people have to go to accountants and spend $100 to file really very simple tax returns, because they are overwhelmed in trying to understand the tax code existing now.

The Case of Arnett v. Kennedy (1974) provides that a statute must set out in terms that the ordinary person exercising common sense can sufficiently understand and comply with, without sacrifice to the public interest. The case of United State Civil Serv. Commission v. National Association of Letter Carriers (1973) upheld this decision.

The cases of Greyned, Papachristou, Bouie, and National Diary Products Corp. all maintained that to pass constitutional scrutiny, a statue or code must give persons of ordinary intelligence fair notice that their contemplated conduct is forbidden by action.

On 9/16/03, at a conference in front of the U.S. Treasury Building, Mr. Terry Lemmons, a senior spokesman for the IRS, stated in response to a question put before him by the New York Times regarding whey they refuse to answer the questions of the people regarding these issues, he stated "We are answering those petitions through enforcement actions." This is a blatant admission that they are not following the law.

Not sure if any of you noticed, but Bush indicated in his last two State of the Union addresses that he has a large committee on Income Tax Reform, which just finished their study, but the conclusions have not been released yet. When Bush took office, he sent people to all divisions of the government for evaluation, and I solely believe that this committee is attempting to fix this major flaw in the system, but they have not yet........

So even with this standing that there is no law within the Internal Revenue Code stating American citizens must pay income tax, that the 16th Amendment provides for Congress to levy the Tax, not the IRS (it does not allow for them to delegate that task~ which you will notice Presidential powers allow for delegation and formation of organizations to handle tasks, this Amendment does not), that the tax essentially is required to be a flat tax on ONLY gains or increases in wages, but it is completely appropriate for a citizen to withhold their income tax in retaliation for the lack of response for their Constitutional petitions for a redress of grievances afforded to them under the First Amendment. If one petitions the government for answers to simple clear questions to clarify the law, the government must answer them, and in so not doing, are violating the law. Thus, if we are afforded a right to request redress, but the government refuses to acknowledge this right by refusing to answer the questions, then is it really a right? Thus, the only way to properly address this situation is to withhold monies from the government until they comply with the law.

Hope this sheds some light on the subject for those of you with any questions on whether or not the federal income tax is legal. As it stands right now, it's not. That being said though, good luck trying to fight the government on it.....there is that saying that the only sure things in life are death and taxes.

I'll let you know when I hear about the outcome of the Appeal.

Economic State Of The Union

[Note: Written on 3/20/06~ Update Below]

Just a Precaution

Today is March 20th, and for those that keep up with World Events, this day marks Iran's start of the "Iran Oil Bourse." That means that Iran will start selling oil in Euros. In way of background, the World currently sells all of its oil in US Dollars, creating a large demand for dollars in other countries, as they must sell us cheap goods in order to obtain dollars to buy oil, or they must take loans from the World Bank/International Monetary Fund (with interest). This is currently known as Petrodollar Hegemony.....and it will come to an end tomorrow. The US Dollar is currently the reserve currency of the World right now partially for this reason, the other reason is because we have the military might to fight against any economic attacks against it. That means that 70f the savings that countries hold is in US dollars. This keeps the value of the dollar high in relation to other World currencies, which is why you have seen a shift of production out of America, in the form of free and unbalanced trade. Our current trade deficit is astounding, meaning we buy much much more from other countries than we sell to them.

Iraq was the first country to start selling their oil for Euros and we saw what that got them. This administration is currently hyping a potential conflict with Iran, just as they did with Iraq, based upon the false threat against our National Security. Many economists say that the effects if Iran's Oil Bourse is successful would be the equivalent in damage of dropping a nuclear bomb on US soil. The outcome of this would mean the instability of the US Dollar, forcing countries holding it in their reserves to trade it in for the Euro, making the value of the dollar plummet.

Meanwhile, Congress just approved increasing our debt ceiling to $9 trillion dollars and our total credit market debt (government, corporations, and households) is higher than it was before and during the Great Depression.

On top of it all, the Federal Reserve will stop publishing the M3 Report on March 23, 2006. Coincidence? I think not. This means that they will no longer tell people how much money is being printed and placed into circulation, and also how much money is being taken out of circulation. The current Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke, just sworn into office on February 1, 2006, is a proponent of the fact that the International Banks/Federal Reserve took money out of circulation, which caused the Great Depression to happen. They stopped approving any loans, and all money from loans repaid were simply put back into the vaults. This caused a shortage of money in the World, and threw the World into an economic depression. With the accelerating alarm of Iran's Oil Bourse, they may be doing this to hide this action from happening again. Should the World stop using the US dollar as their reserve currency, the International Banks may revert to backing support for the Euro, rather than the US dollar as they do now, and may purposely promote a fall of the US dollar in order to instate the Euro as the single currency of the land. It is already the currency of all of Europe, and our administration has made no qualms in telling us that they want a New World Order, where all of us are under a one world government, with America as its military might. That is not a conspiracy theory. Bush & Co. has spoken of it even just recently.

What does this mean for the average citizen? It means that for at least the next month or so, until America either decides to attack Iran to protect the dollar (which could be disastrous as well because we can hardly afford another war~ not to mention the fact that China, Russia, Syria, and India may come to Iran's defense, inciting World War III in the process), or our leaders tell us that we are in the clear and they will begin publishing the M3 again, I highly recommend you keep as much actual cash on you as possible, and not in the banks or stock market. I know that they are FDIC insured, but the FDIC only holds in reserves enough money to cover about 2/3 of the deposits in banks today, and as you may know, the top 20f wealthy people in American holds 80f the nation's wealth, so who do you think they will pay first? Should there be a major crisis like happened during the crash before the Great Depression, with our current debt levels as high as they are, there is a strong likelihood the Banks would not want to bail us out should the value of the dollar fall, because it would not be in their financial interests. Further, in the event of a major crash, I really recommend keeping as much food as possible stocked in your cabinets at all times. A fall of the US dollar will mean that we will not be able to import goods on any kind of level that we do now, so we are best to be prepared for that occurrence.

I only stress these things as a precaution. I do not claim to know the future, but I see the warning signs, as do others, and it can never hurt to be prepared can it?

Protect yourself and those you love.

[Update 4/18/06]
Well, the administration's bullying of Iran on the false nuclear issue has forced them to DELAY the Iran Oil Bourse from going into effect. However, the M3 is still not being published!!!!

Introspection

As anyone that really knows me may recall, growing up I was quite the bookworm. My family circumstances being what they were, I always escaped into the fantasy of books. I would read incessantly, my little brother constantly bugging me and nagging me to play with him, while I could scarcely pull my nose out of a book. My brother and I fought terribly because of this and my Grandmother even went so far as to ground me from my books on occasion, stating that it was not natural and that I needed to be more social. And though to this point I have always felt that I was this way at an early age to escape the ugliness and gross circumstance of my childhood, upon further reflection I find that rather I was actually looking to something greater, towards my future.

I was rather fond of reading classics, all of them really, but in particular Jane Austen was my favorite author of all. I must have read her books over twenty times in my life, and still do almost once every year (yes every one of them). Today, I reread Pride and Prejudice and came to an astounding realization (at least to me it was, though many of you may find it dull and uninteresting, but no matter, I shall relate it nonetheless).

Jane Austen was an amazing writer. Her books are of course filled with fanciful stories of love, wealth, great dances, beautifully described gowns, homes and landscapes, enough to incite the day dreaming of any young girl. But more than that, the subject of her stories I think is what most endears them to me. The depth in her characters I have found unequaled in all of my days, and the complexity of the relationships between those characters is unparalleled. All of her stories revolve around a heroine that is strong, opinionated, educated, and unaffected. They are from lower circumstances; yet possess the depth of character to lend them into the highest society in Europe. They possess true morality. And though they are of lower station, and women in times when women were scarcely more than dolls in fanciful dresses bred to be good wives for the men that cared for them, little more than property really. Women of that time were taught the arts, music, drawing, proper etiquette, nothing of more intellectual prowess was desired by most. Yet her heroines were always above this mundane existence. And because of their difference among the women of their time, often stood out and made for themselves the most excellent of matches (in husbands of course), and thereby secured for themselves an even better life than they could have ever hoped for.

Beautiful and strong, the heroines of Jane Austen's books I believe have had a profound impact on who I am. I was lacking in any true parental figure or motivator growing up. And just as everybody loves a story of an underdog who makes good in the World, and rises to success, those underdogs need some sort of stimulant to start the ball rolling. In the same respect, I think these stories gave me hope and inspiration for my own life. They helped instill in me that if I educated myself and always possessed courage of my own convictions that I would find myself in a better place in this World, in the right place, where I belonged and would be happy. And I do believe that she was right.

Oh, if only Jane Austen or some great heir of hers were yet alive that I could thank for this utmost gift. She and her beautiful stories have instilled within me a true sense of worth and purpose. In the realization that by simply reading a few books when I was a young girl, that I found a mother, a friend, and a true role model for what women should be, even if they were fictitious, I am so astoundingly grateful. I never realized that this was why I loved her novels so much, but I am not sorry for this realization. Though some may think how pitiful it may be that I have found my inspiration in mere written words, instead of from a real person, I would remind them that I did not have the best of women in my life to look up to, and had I followed their examples, I certainly would not be anything like the woman I am today and doubt that many would like that woman that I would have become. I think it is stunning that within my own unwitting conscience, in the face of only licentious dominion, that I found any source of positive propagation at all.

So, if you have a daughter, when she is young, I highly encourage you to have her read Pride and Prejudice, followed by Wuthering Heights, and by the end of those two she will surely want to read all of the rest..and as for me, if any of you really want to know the story behind me, part of the inspiration for who I am and have become, I recommend reading these books. Meanwhile, like the heroines of these tales, I shall continue my studies and one day unexpectedly I will find that extraordinary gentleman that will make me the happiest woman alive, the man that will find my wit and mind, as well as my beauty, more enchanting than he can check despite any misgivings on my family station. Isn't that what dreams are made of? I believe in dreams. A saying, "laugh often, love deeply, dream always."

End Of Days?

I have of late been studying many subjects. Besides the New World Order, the Federal Reserve System, US and World Politics, secret societies, the great banking families of the world (including the Rothschilds), US and World History (above what the common textbooks filter out), Astronomy, Ancient Civilizations and their theology and religions, reading the Bible, sacred geometry, string theory, weather manipulation and control, quantum physics, I have just recently looked into the stories and of the Ancient Mayan civilization and their calendar, and this has brought many threads of my research together to form one amazingly entangled web of possibilities..Today I feel like a philosopher of sorts.

Some of my recent reading:
*Is Earth in a Vortex of Space Time?
*2012- The Astronomy Connection
*The Mayan Calendar
*The Sacred Tree
*The Sun is On The Cross

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

In this last article, the author contends that the true center of the Sun on the Milky Way's equator is the Spring Equinox of 1998, or 3/23/98 (not surprising to see the number 23 when the Masons hold this number so close to their heart), (not 2012), but realizes that this "age" is the dawn of the "Age of Aquarius", as we pass from the "Age of Pisces." A brief study of what these symbols represent throughout all of the ancient cultures will tell you what this will mean for us...that we are entering into an age of technology, of thought, and in so doing, are beginning to see the benefits of a global socialist community. This is to be the "Age of Enlightenment" and I feel this coming of age within my soul.

Others believe the true center of the cross, this amazing event, to fall on 12/21/2012 (or 13.0.0.0.0 as written in the Mayan long count calendar, falling on the Winter Solstice). Why am I so interested in the year 2012 and the "End of Days"? Most believe this to be the most accurate date. This is the point that the Sun will pass over the equator of the
Milky Way, bringing us in line with the blackhole beneath our solar system (which the Mayans believe to be both the road to the underworld and the great creator, river of life, or womb, and also death), this is the end date provided for in the ancient Mayan calendar, said to be the most accurate calendar on Earth, born of an ancient civilization that was decimated by an unknown assailant. The energies that would take place on this occurrence could be amazing. At the same time, our sun will switch poles again (this occurs every 11 years), and as we currently have a very stable relationship (the Earth's axis and the Sun's South Pole), this event may throw the balance of the Earth's axis off. The Earth's axis is constantly in a state of "wobble" dealing with pressures exerted by the Sun. This may cause the Earth's current axis to shift, destabilizing the poles we have now, which may explain as we enter closer to this anomaly of the heavens the strange aurora's being experienced outside of the north pole region, as far south as California and Florida, of late, for which the scientists have no explanation for. It may explain the unusual and amazing solar activity within the last few years. It may explain the continued melting of the polar ice caps, which is causing the oceans of the World to rise (it is worthy to note that Aquarius is most symbolized as a man with a cup that pours out the rivers, denoting the coming of the time of a great flood, when the worlds waters rise). It may explain the strange weather activity, the massive earthquakes, and amazing hurricane season this year, and more.

And this is only the beginning, as we quickly approach 2012. A friend recently wrote that the last seven years, as prophesied in Revelations, are upon us, and this year we will see the date 06.06.06 of the new century, which will represent the rise of the false prophet, or the anti-Christ so to speak, upon the Earth. Technologies such as the RFID implantable chip I have long foreseen to become the "mark of the beast" to be implanted within our right hands, and the upcoming National ID Card to be unveiled with the same technology (RFID Chip) is a precursor to the chip being implanted, and as in Revelations, no citizen will be able to conduct trade or financial transactions without it. Do not take this chip, for the Bible foretells that any who do will be subjected to the fiery tortures of hell on earth in the end times, these could very well be the same tortures that would be inflicted with the change of the energies in our solar system when the sun is "on the cross" of the milky way, to be concluded, and a new age entered, on 12/21/2012. The Mayan legends run parallel to the Bibles foretelling of the final battle between Satan and our Lord, and that it is this celestial event that allows Satan to rise from Hell to wage this battle.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The powers that be are insistent in issuing in the "New World Order", the dawn of the new age of men, where all will be ruled together under an elect few for the so-called good of mankind. The Bible foretells of the reign of the thousand years of peace after the final judgment, but do not be fooled by those that would mark you, they are the messengers and advocates for Satan and would condemn your soul to hell, so that they may rule the Earth in the age to follow. Do not listen to the false prophets as we are advised of in the Bible. I cannot and will not follow any that would mark me. The technology that tracks these RFID chips is amazingly called Digital Angel.

Some believe that as the Sun passes over the equator, this will present the time when "Satan" will rise up from the blackhole (hell) and battle God once again for rule of the heavens, and though God has foretold that he will win and we will have peace in the aftermath, the peoples of the world will endure amazing tribulations while this battle is waged, and there may be some, especially the anti-Christ and the false prophets before him, that will attempt to lure us over to Satan's side, to direct our energies to his cause.

World events are reaching a climax that will soon deliver us into this socialist society where the people of the world will truly only be human capital, or slaves, to those that rule us, if left unchecked. The disappearance of the middle class is only a small indicator of this. During this coming time, we will all be equal in our squalor. Two world wars have already been manipulated by those that run the World Banks, and a third is quickly approaching, in which I believe we will see the downfall of America and more importantly Americans, entering into a depression the likes of which make the last one seem trivial. A third world war, started with us or Israel attacking Iran, could be the catalyst of deliverance into this time, and I believe will be the signal and mirror image also of the beginning of the final battle of the gods. We must do what we can to ensure that this war here on Earth does not take place. We must do ALL WE CAN to stop this. This will not stop the war of the gods I believe, but it will ensure that many of our souls remain on Earth after the day of final judgment comes. It will ensure your survival in the coming age.

The people in power on this earth are quickly trying and my already have the ability to harness and wield the power of weather control, to use electromagnetic energy to manipulate the upper ionosphere of the Earth (HAARP), perhaps to keep these events (major weather and the changing of the earths axis) at bay, or to wield them in the name of the beast, which is unknown.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We are entering into strange times, the likes of which have not been seen for approximately half a million years, and will be the first man on this Earth will experience.

I am sorry if this writing may seem a little haphazard at present, they are my thoughts, and though many subjects are presented (space, technology, politics, religion, et al.), it is because I believe the current state of affairs is all encompassing. It touches every aspect of our lives. Knowledge is power, certainly, and the knowledge of these many subjects and the way they interact and form the larger picture seems to me to be a true revelation of the events to come and their effects on you and me. Each of these subjects are only touched upon but briefly here, and I commend you for reading even so long a passage as this, if you have made it this far. If you would like additional information about the subjects herein, feel free to message me and I will provide you with a myriad of resources where information on these topics can be obtained.

So what do I recommend to safeguard yourselves and those you love in the coming times? Keep your mind sharp, educate yourself, do not fall prey to the false prophets and turn your heart to hate of any kind, do not take the mark of the beast in your right hand, do not allow the war on Earth to occur, and above all keep love in your heart and mind at all times. So Mote It Be. Amen.

The Irony Of US Money

There are many ironies in our money we use.......if you have done any study of the criminality of the Federal Reserve and the International Bankers against our country, you will note that they have installed their most heated opponents upon our money, like a slap in their faces that despite all of their efforts they achieved victory.... These are the currencies issued by our Federal Reserve....

Abraham Lincoln was perhaps the largest opponent of the Federal Reserve system, and issued "greenbacks," dollars issued by our own government, outside of any debt system, which were deemed of value because of the backing of our own government, as it should be. He was assassinated on April 14, 1865, just one short month after he was re-elected to office, with a view of the Civil War in sight, an end to slavery called, and passing the National Banking Acts, the last of which passed in 1865. Some quotes by Lincoln:

"I have two great enemies, the southern army in front of me and the financial institutions, in the rear. Of the two, the one in the rear is the greatest enemy..... I see in the future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of the war."

"The government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the government and the buying power of consumers. By adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity." - Abraham Lincoln, 16th US President

Thomas Jefferson was the third President of the US, the principal author of the Declaration of Independence, and was a strongly outspoken critic of a central banking system. Some quotes:

"I wish it were possible to obtain a single amendment to our constitution - taking from the federal government their power of borrowing." - Thomas Jefferson, 1798

I am conscious that an equal division of property is impracticable. But the consequences of this enormous inequality producing so much misery to the bulk of mankind, legislators cannot invent too many devices for sub-dividing property, only taking care to let their subdivision go hand in hand with the natural affections of the human mind. The descent of property of every kind therefore to all the children, or to all the brothers and sisters, or other relations in equal degree is a politic measure, and a practicable one. Another means of silently lessening the unequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progression as they rise. Whenever there is in any country uncultivated lands and unemployed poor, it is clear that the laws of property have been so far extended as to violate natural right. The earth is given as a common stock to man to labour and live on. If, for the encouragement of industry we allow it to be appropriated, we must take care that other employment be permitted to those excluded from the appropriation. If we do not, the fundamental right to labor the earth returns to the unemployed.... It is too soon in our country to say that every man who cannot find employment but who can find uncultivated land, shall be at liberty to cultivate it, paying a moderate rent, but it is not too soon to provide by every possible means that as few as possible shall be without a little portion of land. The small landholders are the most precious part of a state.

We hold these truths to be sacred & undeniable; that all men are created equal & independant, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent & inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, & liberty, & the pursuit of happiness; that to secure these ends, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government shall become destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, & to institute new government, laying it's foundation on such principles & organising it's powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety & happiness.

Franklin Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the US, ushered in the "New Deal" and the entry into World War I and World War II, was in office through the time of the Great Depression. Many believe he was little more than a puppet of the international bankers, and followed their whims. He signed into effect the FDIC, instead of taking the power of money back into the people's hands, he ensured that the Banks would survive and thrive. He ended the gold standard. He increased the national debt, approved the Social Security Act, and made the federal government bigger than it had ever been. If ever in America's history there should have been a revolution of the people, it should have occurred in his presidency, but he evaded that with programs that seemingly helped the people (though we are paying the consequences for it now), and making the people think that he was on their side, all the while doing nothing about the bankers that caused and were financing (or de-financing) the problems of those times. It is thought by some that he was probably aware of this, as noted by the following quotes:

"The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson." - Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd US President

They (who) seek to establish systems of government based on the regimentation of all human beings by a handful of individual rulers. . . call this a new order. It is not new and it is not order.

The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much, it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.

The hopes of the Republic cannot forever tolerate either undeserved poverty or self-serving wealth.

More than an end to war, we want an end to the beginnings of all wars.

True individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and independence. People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.

George Washington of course was our first President, was an advocate of a small central government and lead in the Revolutionary War against England and the Central Bank of England, advocating against taxation without representation and the evils of the central bank system. He was against the evils of a party system

Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder.

"Paper money has had the effect in your state that it will ever have, to ruin commerce, oppress the honest, and open the door to every species of fraud and injustice." George Washington, in letter to J. Bowen, Rhode Island, Jan. 9, 1787

John F. Kennedy was the 35th President of the US. He was in office in the early Vietnam War years.

President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110 in 1963 giving the Treasury Department power to issue silver certificates as the base of U.S. money. Once sufficient silver certificates existed it would eliminate the demand for Federal Reserve notes. JFK was assassinated five months later.

When Kennedy called for a return of Americas currency to the gold standard, and the dismantling of the Federal Reserve System he actually minted non-debt money that does not bear the mark of the Federal Reserve; when he dared to actually exercise the leadership authority granted to him by the U.S. ConstitutionKennedy prepared his own death warrant.

"The great free nations of the world must take control of our monetary problems if these problems are not to take control of us."

"The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the Americans' freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizen of his plight." --John Fitzgerald Kennedy [1917 ~ 1963] President of U.S.: 1961 ~ 1963. Columbia University, 10 days before his assassination

The first $1 notes (called United States Notes or "Legal Tenders") were issued by the Federal Government in 1862 and featured a portrait of Secretary of the Treasury Salmon P. Chase (1861-1864). The first use George Washington's portrait on $1 notes was on Series 1869 United States Notes. Of all the notes printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, $1 notes make up about 45f currency production.

"Every lover of his country will therefore be solicitous to find out some speedy remedy for this alarming evil. There is no possible substitute for the loss of commerce. Our first grand object, therefore, is its restoration. I presume not to dictate or direct. It is a subject that will require the deepest deliberations and researches of the wisest and more experienced men in America to fully comprehend. It probably belongs to no one man existing to possess all the qualifications required to trace the course of American commerce through all intricate paths and to those and only those that shall lead the United States to future glory and prosperity I am sanguine in the belief of the possibility that we may one day become a great commercial and flourishing nation. But if in the pursuit of the means we should unfortunately stumble again on un-funded paper money or any similar species of fraud, we shall assuredly give a fatal stab to our national credit in its infancy. Paper money will invariably operate in the body of politics as spirit liquors on the human body. They prey on the vitals and ultimately destroy them."

Thomas Jefferson also advocated that the National Debt should be eliminated. However, he did not believe that living individuals had a moral obligation to repay the debts of previous generations. He said that repaying such debts was "a question of generosity and not of right." Some more quotes:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies . . . If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] . . . will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered . . . The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson -- The Debate Over The Recharter Of The Bank Bill, (1809)

"The system of banking we have both equally and ever reprobated. I contemplate it as a blot left in all our constitutions, which, if not covered, will end in their destruction. I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale."

"The eyes of our citizens are not sufficiently open to the true cause of our distress. They ascribe them to everything but their true cause, the banking system; a system which if it could do good in any form is yet so certain of leading to abuse as to be utterly incompatible with the public safety and prosperity. I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies... and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale."

"... we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessities and comforts, in our labors and in our amusements, for our callings and our creeds our people must come to labor16 hours in the 24, give the earnings of 15 of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the 16th being insufficient to afford us bread. We have no time to think, no means of calling the mis-managers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves, to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow sufferers. Our land holders, too, retaining indeed the title and stewardship of estates called theirs, but held really in trust for the treasury, this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from principle becomes a precedent for a second; that second for a third; and so on, till the bulk of society is reduced to mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering. And the fore horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in it's train, wretchedness and oppression."

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a money aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. This issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of the moneyed corporations which already dare to challenge our Government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country." "I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale."

Abraham Lincoln.

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money-power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.

There should be no war upon property or the owners of property. Property is the fruit of labor; property is desirable; is a positive good in the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, hence, is just encouragement to industry and enterprise."

"The Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of consumers. By the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity.

"Yes; we may all congratulate ourselves that this cruel war is nearing its close. It has cost a vast amount of treasure and blood. The best blood of the flower of American youth has been freely offered upon our country's altar that the Nation might live. It has been, indeed a trying hour for the Republic; but I see in the future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country.

"To emit an un-funded paper as the sign of value ought not to continue a formal part of the Constitution, nor even hereafter to be employed; being, in its nature, pregnant with abuses, and liable to be made the engine of imposition and fraud; holding out temptations equally pernicious to the integrity of government and to the morals of the people."

TWENTY DOLLAR BILL: $20.00

Andrew Jackson was one of the largest opponents of the Federal Reserve and stopped its creation for some years.

"If congress has the right under the Constitution to issue paper money, it was given them to use themselves, not to be delegated to individuals or corporations."

"The bold efforts that the present bank has made to control the government and the distress it has wantonly caused, are but premonitions of the fate which awaits the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it...If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system there would be a revolution before morning."

FIFTY DOLLAR BILL: $50.00

Ulysses Grant was the 18th President of the US and he too issued "hard-money" bond backed paper dollars. The Panic of 1873 hit the country hard during his presidency, and he never attempted decisive action, one way or the other, to alleviate distress. The first law that he signed, in March 1869 established the value of the greenback currency issued during the Civil War, pledging to redeem the bills in gold. In 1874 he vetoed a bill to increase the amount of a legal tender currency, which defused the currency crisis on Wall Street, but did little to help the economy as a whole. The depression led to smashing Democratic victories in the 1874 off-year elections, as that party took control of the House for the first time since 1856. During his reign, he had numerous scandals of corruption among his staff, which he did nothing about.

Benjamin Franklin

THE INABILITY OF THE COLONISTS TO GET THE POWER TO ISSUE THEIR OWN MONEY, PERMANANTELY, OUT OF THE HANDS OF GEORGE III AND THE INTERNATIONAL BANKERS WAS THE PRIME REASON FOR THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR.
BENJAMIN FRANKLIN (a founder of America condemning global monopoly power in his autobiography. 1775. 1706-1790)

He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be suspected of doing everything for money.

If you would be wealthy, think of saving as well as getting.

"The refusal of King George to operate an honest colonial money system which freed the ordinary man from the clutches of the manipulators was probably the prime cause of the Revolution."

"The Colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters, had it not been that England took away from the Colonies their money, which created unemployment and dis-satisfaction."

"In the Colonies, we issue our own paper money. It is called 'Colonial Scrip.' We issue it in proper proportion to make the goods and pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power and we have no interest to pay to no one. In this manner, by creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay, to anyone. You see, a legitimate government can both spend and lend money into circulation, while banks can only lend significant amounts of their promissory bank notes, for they can neither give away nor spend but a tiny fraction of the money the people need. Thus, when your bankers here in England place money in circulation, there is always a debt principal to be returned and usury to be paid. The result is that you have always too little credit in circulation to give the workers full employment. You do not have too many workers, you have too little money in circulation, and that which circulates, all bears the endless burden of unpayable debt and usury."

William McKinley was the 25th President of the US and was assassinated in 1901 by a supposed "anarchist", then succeeded by Theodore Roosevelt. He led American into the Spanish-America War and ushered in the "New Imperialism" Era. He was in office in 1900 during the passage of the Gold Standard Act.

Rockefeller influence in the White House began in 1894 with the election of William McKinley. But it was not until the election of Franklin Delano Roosevelt that it became a deciding factor in determining policy. In many ways, the New Deal was a Rockefeller deal.*

Although it is generally believed that the New Deal was designed to help business and the stock market quickly recover from the depression, its effect was to prolong the depression for several years. We now know that this resuIt was deliberately contrived; among other reasons, the Rockefellers wanted a depressed stock market so they could buy up shares cheaply. (It is worth noting that the "New Deal deaIt most kindly with the Rockefeller interests.

Grover Cleveland was the 22nd President of the US. Shortly after Cleveland was inaugurated, the Panic of 1893 struck the stock market, and he soon faced an acute economic depression. He dealt directly with the Treasury crisis rather than with business failures, farm mortgage foreclosures, and unemployment. He obtained repeal of the mildly inflationary Sherman Silver Purchase Act. With the aid of J. P. Morgan and Wall Street he maintained the Treasury's gold reserve. He was an adamant opponent of the Pullman Strike that shut down most of the nation's passenger, freight and mail traffic in June 1894. He obtained an injunction in federal court and when the strikers refused to obey it he sent in federal troops to Chicago and 20 other rail centers. "If it takes the entire army and navy of the United States to deliver a postcard in Chicago," he thundered, "that card will be delivered." Most governors supported Cleveland except Democrat John P. Altgeld of Illinois, who became his bitterest foe in 1896.

He mocks the people who proposes that the government shall protect the rich and that they in turn will care for the laboring poor.

James Madison

"History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling the money and its issuance." - James Madison, 4th US President

I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.

"The prime function of government is the protection of the different and unequal faculties of men for acquiring property."

"The extension of the prohibition to bills of credit must give pleasure to every citizen, in proportion to his love of justice and his knowledge of the true springs of public prosperity. The loss which America has sustained since the peace from the pestilent effects of paper money on the necessary confidence between man and man, on the necessary confidence in the public councils, on the industry and morals of the people and on the character of republican government, constitutes an enormous debt against the States chargeable with this unadvised measure, which must long remain unsatisfied; or rather an accumulation of guilt, which can be expiated no otherwise than by a voluntary sacrifice on the altar of justice of the power which has been the instrument of it. In addition to these persuasive considerations, it may be observed that the same reasons which show the necessity of denying to the States the power of regulating coin, prove with equal force that they ought not to be at liberty to substitute a paper medium in the place of the coin."

TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR BILL: $10,000.00

10000-Chase.jpg

Salmon Chase was the US Treasury Secretary under Abraham Lincoln, and was solely responsible for the issuance of Lincoln's "greenbacks," a non-debt money system issued by our own government. Chase articulated the "slave power conspiracy" thesis well before Lincoln did, and he coined the slogan, "Free Soil, Free Labor, Free Men" . He devoted his enormous energies to the destruction of what he considered the slave power, that is the conspiracy of slave owners to seize control of the federal government and block the progress of liberty.

The Chase National Bank, a predecessor of Chase Manhattan Bank was named for him, though he had no personal affiliation with it.

SALMON P. CHASE, (Lincoln's Secretary to the Treasury) who was the pilot of the 1863 banking act in the US never forgave himself, subsequently saying: "My agency, in promoting the passage of the National Bank Act, was the greatest mistake in my life. It has built up a monopoly which affects every interest in the country. It should be repealed, but before that can be accomplished, the people should be arrayed on one side, and the banks on the other, in a contest such as we have never seen before in this country."

IN GOD WE TRUST

in_god_we_trust2020dollar.jpg

The inclusion of "In God We Trust" on all currency was required by law in 1955. The national motto first appeared on paper money in 1957 on $1 Silver Certificates, and on all Federal Reserve Notes beginning with Series 1963.

On the back of every piece of currency issued by our Federal Reserve are the words "In God We Trust." Again, this is a slap in the face of those that believe this nation is wholly Christian in our practices. There was only one time in Jesus' life that he became violent, when he overturned the tables of the "moneychangers" in the market place in protest of their practice of "usury" or lending money with interest. Here are some Bible verses that address this issue:

"If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not be like a moneylender; charge him no interest." -Exodus 22:25

"You must not lend him money at interest or sell him food at a profit."
-Leviticus 25:37

"Do not charge your brother interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest." -Deuteronomy 23:19

"who lends his money without usury
and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things will never be shaken." -Psalm 15:5

"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." -Matthew 6:24

"Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves." -Matthew 21:12

"On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves," -Mark 11:15

"No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." -Luke 16:13

"So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables." -John 2:15

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil." -1 Timothy 6:10

CONCLUSION

Knowledge IS Power. Isn't it interesting to note that the two Presidents that actually began issuing debt-free money were assassinated within months of their actions. Many of these Presidents took us into wars, which were planned by the International Banks. Those Presidents that rebelled against their control were killed. Every economic expert will tell you our Federal Reserve caused the Great Depression. They may be setting us up for another fall with the great inflation of our dollar just as they did before. They didn't call it the "Roaring Twenties" for nothing. Call your House Representative and Congressman and demand that they publish the M3 report as previously done, and then demand that the Federal Reserve be abolished and the power of printing money be put back into the hands of the people/Congress as indicated within our Constitution, not the hands of private bankers who are manipulating the governments of the World and keep us in slavery under a debt-money system and fractional-reserve banking! Do not be fooled by those that say a return to the gold standard would benefit us, there is no more gold in Fort Knox, it was given to the Federal Reserve to back our huge national debt. The IMF bank holds the largest reserve of gold in the world, thus a return to the gold standard would only consolidate the power into the world bank's hands. Watch the last 30 minutes of the Money Masters video, part two, listed in my blog entitled Monopoly Money for a full detailed recommendation on how to fix our system!

Heartfelt Essay

Two recommended movies to see:

1) Lords of War, starring Nicolas Cage; and
2) The Constant Gardener.

The first deals primarily with the Military Industrial Complex and one sole arms dealer in the World.
The latter, corruption of government and their cover ups involving pharmaceutical nightmares in Africa.

Both deal with people getting rich off of killing fellow human beings.

Now, though these are "Hollywood" stories, glamorizations fit for the large screen, to entertain us and make money themselves,
their stories are based in realities that most of us never see, and for the small part they play in educating an unwitting populace I am eternally grateful.

The majority of us live our lives from day to day, enjoying our friends and family,
our prosperity, the ease in our lives, while never knowing what the world at large suffers.
We work our jobs, never seeing our own contributions to the ever growing monster.
We do not take these actions directly. We are not the ones that pull the trigger, or make the decision that will end another's life.
And we are systematically trained from an early age to look the other way, while someone else plays the hitman for us.

Our government is completely corrupted, through and through, with almost no hope of salvation as far as I can see.
Decades of officials have been bought and sold to the highest corporate "fiat" dollar.
We have become a "service economy" outbuying products from almost every country out there, with fake monopoly money.
And then we sell those poor countries guns and drugs that kill them, in the name of "testing" and self-preservation.
All to earn a buck. Slavery in America was abolished in 1862, but we are all still very much slave masters in this World.

Why is our society so incredibly obsessed with money?
Money has become the new religion for America, radical capitalistic cannibalism at its finest.
Why do I say money is our religion? Because there is nothing that backs our money.....
except our faith and continued use of it, along with other countries faith in it,
and we now even use brute force to demand faith in it (see reasons for our current wars), just as the Crusaders did so many years ago.
The Lord has told me not to place faith in any "false Gods."
What is a God? Does that mean the great creator, or does it mean the ruler of us all?
For if the former is the case, would that not make money our God?
The Bible tells us clearly that "the love of money is the root of all evil." (1 Timothy 6:10)
And the more I learn about our money and the great evils it brings into our World in the manifestation of incessant greed,
The more I abhore our continued worship of Mammon.

I see the continuing evolution into a one world government, as borders are blurred and relations continue to change.
But although we have all dreamt of that great "Eutopian society," the people ushering in this "oneness" have different aims.
Corporatism in its essence is the Church of Mammon and they solely worship their God of Money.
It is against the law for them to do anything other than make that buck, to make their stockholders profit, at any price, even human.
The only thing that stops them from harming humanity at all to make a buck are too few hazily interpreted policies.
So while you may rejoice in hearing the term "Planet Starbucks," excuse me while I go puke at the images of my dead friends that would make that a reality.

I apologize greatly for my continued "doom and gloom" posts, blogs, and bulletins that I continue to subject my friends on here to.
I certainly am not a pessimist, as anyone who knows me in "real time" knows.
I prefer to think of myself as optimistically cautious...
"Ignorance is strength." is what our government and the World leaders rely upon.
For if you all knew the breadth of the atrocities our country commits in our names and on our dime daily,
We would all rise to revolution in a fortnight.
I simply try to bring you small slivers of truth, that one might hopefully awaken you to a greater cause.
One that might, just maybe, sharpen your senses and bring you out of the self obsessed indulgent coma that they have put you into.

I think many prefer to live in denial of these depraved actions, like parents often do when their children turn to drugs.
We prefer to see the World how we want it, and not the sordid reality.
We turn a blind eye so that we may not be forced to feel the guilt that lies heavily upon us all.
And yes, we, as Americans, are all guilty for the parts we play. We were once a great democracy, and we have shamelessly allowed this cancer in our "system" to grow to what it is.
You may say, "but I am only one person," how could I make a change. To that I would reply, if every man gave you a nickel, would you not be wealthy?

Further, many Americans do not have nearly the time to obtain even a nimble grasp of World policies, news, and our ever-reaching manipulations therein.
I myself am only beginning to fathom the scope of my place in this vast World.

There is so much beauty and wonder in this World to distract us. Not that we should be ashamed by our participation in these distractions.
I believe life is an experience, to feel, to be.
But I also believe that our souls need to be fed, and nothing feeds the soul greater than helping another.
What will you do to help someone today?

VIDEO OF THE EVENT:

PART ONE

PART TWO

After the march, the end rally took up the entire city block in front of Mann's Chinese Theatre and the Kodak Theatre......

Image hosting by Photobucket

Image hosting by Photobucket

I will tell you from experience, I DO think that protests have a lot of relevance today. There are a lot of people in this country fighting for what they believe is right, doing the EVERY DAY silent items of talking to their friends, people online, writing their congressmen, etc........but when they attend a rally of any magnitude, it reminds them that they are not alone in their efforts, it inspires them to continue, and even more importantly, to do even more....it is also a great networking tool so that like minds can band together and become more organized in their efforts. Few people that have the conviction to spend a day of their lives at a protest do ONLY that.......

Further, it raises awareness. Even a 30 second news coverage piece on a protest may wake up the sleeping masses of America to what is going on not just here at home, but around the World. Every person that is touched or moved will add to the ranks, and then change can begin to happen.

It was the protestors, the activists, and even the extremists that have brought about almost every positive change in America.....civil rights, women's suffrage, improved labor laws, you name it.

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

PEACE!

SOME WONDERFUL QUOTES:

Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
